Quarantine Guide: Mental Health

Whether you’re shelter-in-place or working on the front lines, it’s important to recognize possible mental side effects of our current social isolation. We talk with licensed social worker, Audra Howard, to learn what to look for and how to get help.

“...as humans, we hate to feel out of control…instead of saying to yourself, ‘What can’t I do?’ ask yourself, “What can I control?”

This pandemic is an unprecedented moment in history. Never before have we had so much access to technology and so little physical access to our day-to-day routines. In our efforts to save lives, we’ve completely shifted our lives and with this, there will be stress, fear, uncertainty - just to name a few emotions.

Join us as we dive in and talk about how to: stay connected, manage what we might be experiencing during quarantine, recognize symptoms of depression and anxiety, and how to reach out to a professional for help.
